  7. Things needed to obtain IP addresse from MSN messenger are "netstat" and a lookup
  8. program.
  9.  
  10. This is a tutorial on how to get IP address from MSN messenger. This is actually
  11. a really easy thing to do. It is not like going through the hard time and reversing
  12. MSN messenger like many people think.
  13.  
  14. The IP address is only given when you accept or are sending a file through MSN 
  15. messenger. When you send IM's, the message is sent through the server thus hiding
  16. your victims IP and your. But when you send a file or recieve a file, it is direct
  17. connection between the two computers.

  19. To obtain the IP accept a file transfer or send a file to the victim, when the file 
  20. sending is under way from the dos prompt type "netstat" without the quotation marks.
  21. You should get a table like this:

  28. The top name in the list is the server's address for IMing. There could be many of
  29. the second name in the list, as a new connection is made to the server for every 
  30. room you are IMing to. You are looking for the address of the remote host in
  31. this table it may be something similar to "host63-7-102-226.btinternet.com" 
  32. without the quotation marks.

  34. Then all you have to do is lookup the name of the remote host in a lookup program,
  35. by using any software which can lookup addresses (e.g. Query App). Then you have
  36. the IP address to have fun with.

  38. Things that could be done with a IP, here are a few for examples:
  39. = Dos attacks
  40. = Exploit file and print sharing gaining access to shared files
  41. = You could also use the con-con crash if file and print sharing was enabled
  42. = And many more things.

  44. But remember if you can do this so can the victim at the same time 
  45.  
  46. Easy if you find it hard, I don't know what could be any easier.
